**Friday, September 3^rd – “Singles' Best: Red Carpet Affair” Talent Showcase

Location: Destiny Metropolitan Church, 1775 Water Place, Atlanta, GA 30339

Time: 8:00PM- until. Mix n Mingle will kick-off the event. (Doors open at 7:00PM)

Cost: Admission is free with the weekend pass

Event Description: Come celebrate the many God-given gifts performed via creative ministries (i.e. drama, dance, song, spoken word, etc.). The special talents of various metro churches will be on display during this awesome time of fellowship!

Labor of Love  (L.O.L.) Community Service – City of Refuge Street Feeding Ministry

Location: 1300 Joseph E. Boone Blvd (formerly Simpson Road), Atlanta, GA 30314, 404.874.2241

Time: 10:30AM – 2:00PM

Cost: Free for participants (monetary donations welcome)

Event Description: Join fellow Metro Atlanta Christian Singles as we spread the joy of Christ while feeding the homeless of Metro Atlanta. Our mission is to feed the body and spirit of each person God places in our pathway, while winning souls for the Kingdom.

Saturday Night LIVE Worship Service – Elizabeth Baptist Church

Location: Elizabeth Baptist Church, 4245 Cascade Road, Atlanta, GA 30331, 404-691-3146

Time: 6:00PM – 7:30PM

Cost: No cost to worship for the evening

Event Description: Please join the M.A.C.S. as we praise the Lord as a group during the Saturday Night Live Worship Service at Elizabeth Baptist Church. Service begins at 6:00PM and will include praise and worship, fellowship and a timely message.

(NEW) Saturday Night Game Night - AMF Bowling Lanes

Location: AMF Bowling Lanes, 565 Cobb Pkwy, Marietta, GA 30060, 770-427-4696

Time: 8:30PM – 11:00PM

Cost: Game night admission is free with the weekend pass

Event Description: Game night event will be hosted at the AMF Bowling Lanes. Bring your spades game, bowling or taboo skills. Come out and fellowship with other area ministries and enjoy a great time of interaction.

**Monday, September 6^th – M.A.C.S. Cookout @ Grant Park

Location: Grant Park, 840 Cherokee Avenue Southeast, Atlanta, GA 30315

Time: 2:00PM – 8:00PM (Food served from 3:00PM - 6:00PM)

Cost: Admission is Free, (monetary donations are welcome.)

Event Description: Bring your cooler (non-alcoholic beverages of course), lawn chairs and relaxed attire. The meat (hamburgers, hot dogs), plates, and napkins will be provided. Feel free to purchase boxes of chicken to contribute towards the meat offering :). Otherwise, we only ask that you bring desserts and/or beverages. The cookout will include healthy athletic competition between participating churches. Activities will include volleyball, touch football, spades, dominoes and men/women track relay races.

**Remember to bring your own lawn chairs, bug spray, etc.

Below are directions to all of the venues for the Labor Day weekend activities. Please contact your singles ministry leader for more information or call Minister Kenny Pugh of Elizabeth Baptist Church at 404.564.8581.

1. Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church, 1775 Water Place SE, Atlanta, GA 30339-2031

From Downtown Atlanta – (Please use MapQuest for alternate directions)

- Take 75/85 North

- Merge onto 75 North

- Take the Windy Hill Road exit, Exit 260

- Turn left onto Windy Hill Road. Cross over I-75 and turn right at Chick-fil-a onto South Park Place.

- At the fork in the road, turn right onto The Exchange and left onto Water Place SE.  Circle the roundabout.

- Destiny will be the beige building located on the left at 1775 Water Place

2. City of Refuge Community Care Complex, 1300 Joseph E. Boone Blvd (formerly Simpson Road), Atlanta, GA 30314 – (Please use MapQuest for alternate directions)

From North Atlanta

- Take 75/85 South to Exit 249C - Williams Street/Georgia Aquarium.  Take your 1^st right on Ivan Allen Blvd.

- Follow Ivan Allen Blvd. past the Aquarium. It will cross over Luckie Street, Marietta Street, and Northside Drive. After you cross over Northside Drive, the road will turn into Joseph E. Boone Blvd.

- Keep going 1.6 miles and City of Refuge will be on the left before the railroad tracks.

From South Atlanta

- Take 75/85 north to exit 247 - Interstate 20 West toward Birmingham.

- Take exit 55A – Lowery Blvd/West End and turn right onto Joseph E. Lowery Blvd.

- Go 1.5 miles and take a left on Joseph E. Boone Blvd.

- City of Refuge will be on the left approximately 1 mile before the railroad tracks.

3. Elizabeth Baptist Church, 4245 Cascade Road, Atlanta, GA 30331

From Downtown Atlanta – (Please use MapQuest for alternate directions)

- Take 20 West for 5.6 miles

- Take Exit 51A onto I-285 South for 2.9 miles

- Take the CASCADE ROAD exit, EXIT 7.

- Turn RIGHT onto CASCADE RD SW for 1.6 miles.

- 4245 CASCADE RD SW is on the RIGHT.

4. AMF Bowling Lanes, 565 Cobb Pkwy, Marietta, GA 30060

From Elizabeth Baptist Church – (Please use MapQuest for alternate directions)

- Start out going SOUTHEAST on CASCADE RD SW toward MANOR HILLS LN SW.

- Merge onto I-285 N/GA-407 N via the ramp on the LEFT.

- Take the US-41 N exit, EXIT 19.

- 565 COBB PKWY S is on the RIGHT

5. Grant Park (Cookout), 840 Cherokee Avenue Southeast, Atlanta, GA 30315 

From Downtown Atlanta – (Please use MapQuest for alternate directions)

The official address is 840 Cherokee Ave, SE Atlanta, GA 30315. However, it is easiest to access the Grant Park Pavillions from the Boulevard side of the park. Here are the directions to get to the Boulevard entrance. 

- Take I-20 West and take the Atlanta Zoo, Grant Park, Cyclorama exit.

- Turn right onto Boulevard

- The Atlanta Zoo/Grant Park entrance will be on the right. (if you come to Atlanta Street then you've gone too far)
